Visiting a new church for the first time can be scary and intimidating. We understand that because at one time or another we've all been the first-time visitor. Some of those experiences have been good, others not so much. (We're sorry for any previous negative experiences you've had with church or church people!)

We hope your experience at PMC is a positive one in which you feel genuinely welcomed and cared for, and that most importantly, you're different when you leave because you've encountered God in a real way through corporate worship in our community of faith.

What to Expect

  • Greetings

    If you come to check things out you can expect to be greeted and warmly welcomed when you first arrive and by several others throughout your visit. These friendly folks can help direct you to important things like where to find the restrooms, childcare and nursery, and Sunday school classes.

  • Worship

    Our worship service lasts about one hour and 15 minutes. We strive week in and week out to provide quality, powerful praise and worship music and solid biblical teaching that's practical and relevant to your life. Our worship style is contemporary. You are free and welcome to raise your hands, clap, shout . . . or not. Worship as you feel comfortable and moved by the Holy Spirit.

  • Relax

    We promise that no one will publically call you out or embarass you by pointing you out as a visitor. So relax, sit back, participate as you wish and are comfortable in doing so, and see what God has for you.

Q: Is PMC part of a denomination?
A: Yes! PMC is part of the Missionary Church, an evangelical denomination committed to worldwide discipleship, church planting, and missions.

Q: What is your music/worship style?
A: We feature a blend of contemporary and traditional music with a creative use of liturgical rhythms and practices.

Q: What should I wear?
A: Come as you are! We care about you, not what you wear. We are not here to judge your fashion style. You will see all types of clothing from casual, to what some may say, Sunday best. We just want you to be comfortable. Jeans are totally fine.

Q: What time is your Sunday worship service?
A: Sunday service starts at 10:30 a.m.

Q: Where do I go when I come in the building?
A: There will be friendly faces to greet you as you enter the building. Our greeters will help direct you. Don't be afraid to ask questions. We have a Welcome Center located in the center of our large foyer. We are here to help your first experience be a good one!

Q: Is there Children's Church?
A: Yes! Launch (children's church) is for children in K-6th grade. The kids meet during the entire service. Check-in is at the check in station in the east hallway.
